CARPET ONE FLOOR & HOME PLEDGES TO TAKE ACTION ON NATIONAL GREEN
SELECT DAY
Houston, TX (January 11, 2008) — On April 19th , Carpet One Floor & Home
locations across North America will host National Green Select Day by inviting their
community members to join together for a day of cleaning up a park, a river bank,
or local neighborhood. National Green Select Day is a local-level grassroots campaign
designed to give communities across North America the opportunity to take action.
In addition to promoting green products, managing waste, and striving to be better
corporate citizens, Carpet One Floor & Home is asking communities to “go green”
and join together to make the world a better place.
“If the green movement is going to be successful, then communities need to get out
and be active”, says Eric Demaree, Chief Operating Officer of Carpet One Floor &
Home. “We want to do more to help promote ways we can all contribute to protecting
and preserving our world, one community at a time. We know if we work together,
we can make a difference.”
